The studio undertakes major stained glass conservation and repair projects and is currently working to conserve stained and leaded glass for the Manchester Town Hall transformation project through 2021 and 2022, as well as smaller but complex conservation projects such as the East Windows of St Alkmund’s Whitchurch and the Chapter House window at Chester Cathedral. This includes conservation and restoration of existing stained glass and lead lights, the design and production of new stained glass and lead lights, and associated metalwork. The studio also carries out the design and execution of protective glazing for ancient glass, glazing condition reports and protection from vandalism in toughened glass or wire guards.
