BUILDING CONSERVATION ORGANISATION
The trust takes into ownership redundant non-conformist chapels, Roman Catholic churches and other places of worship in England provided they are of outstanding architectural and historic interest. Once in good repair, HCT's buildings are opened to the public and suitable community activities are encouraged.
The trust is now managed by the Churches Conservation Trust.
