HORTICULTURE AND BOTANICAL ORGANISATION
Founded in 1882 the RFS has spread knowledge about trees, wood and forests for over a century and encouraged multi-purpose, sustainable management of this vital renewable natural resource.
As an independent, registered, educational charity, the RFS promotes the conservation and expansion of tree resources through good forestry and husbandry which embraces their biodiversity, landscape and recreational values as well as providing the timber-based products we all use.
