Emil Eve Architects has extensive experience working with historic buildings. Its approach is passionate and pragmatic, combining sensitive contemporary design with robust conservation. The practice seeks to meet the needs of its clients through creative and innovative solutions to design challenges, driven by an ingrained respect for the significance of existing buildings.

Director Ross Perkin is a RIBA Conservation Architect with experience leading projects on a range of historic buildings. As a SPAB Lethaby Scholar (2013), Ross has first hand knowledge of contemporary conservation principles, as well as technical methods for the sensitive care and repair of historic buildings.

The practice has a strong track record of obtaining planning and listed building consents for complex and ambitious historic building projects. Current projects include work on Grade I and Grade II listed buildings, encompassing community, ecclesiastical, residential and public realm projects. The practice provides full architectural and interior design services as well as conservation consultancy.
