This course will teach you the fundamentals of green woodworking. Using a selection of hand tools including knives, axes, spokeshaves and drawknives, you'll create a wooden stool to take home. This course is best suited to those who have some woodworking experience. Your tutor for this course is Rob Thorpe. Rob is a residential craftsperson at the Heritage and Rural Skills centre. He has been a green woodworker for 12 years, and also has 20 years of teaching experience, having run many green wood courses. We keep class sizes small, to give all participants a chance to engage with the tutor and learn at their own pace. £165 per person (£125 for under 25s), all tools and materials included. |
