Rob Andrews, expert in York's extraordinarily rich heritage of medieval churches, will lead a tour of All Saints North Street, St Denys, All Saints Pavement and Holy Trinity Goodramgate. Rob will guide you through each building's history and evolution as a unique liturgical space, and point out key features of interest, with special attention paid to windows containing medieval stained glass. We will consider what the surviving imagery of the stained glass tells us about life in the late medieval city and how each building has been adapted and altered over time. |
