This morning course is aimed at archaeologists and heritage professionals who use, write or commission archaeological desk-based assessments (DBAs). It will address the different elements of a DBA to equip delegates with insight into and an understanding of: exactly what DBAs are and when they are required; their main purpose; the contents of a DBA; how they fit in within the stages of development; and how they can be used to provide meaningful assessment of significance and potential for impact of a development to archaeological significance. |
