Cressing Temple Barns, Essex

This course is aimed at Historic Environment Professionals who wish to understand more about the public inquiry process and producing a proof of evidence. The first session will provide an overview of the public inquiry process from an appeal being made through to giving evidence at the inquiry. The second session will look at the different documents forming part of the inquiry which the expert witness will be expected to complete or contribute to. We will also discuss the timeframes these documents are typically expected and tips for how to structure them.
