Conserving Timberwork and Timber Windows

A one day course exploring the use and repair of timber work in Scotland's historic buildings, focussing on traditional sash and case windows. The morning, which can be attended separately online for a £30 fee, will be spent on three talks that explore the different types of timber, decay and weathering, and the design and manufacture of sash and case windows. The afternoon is spent on guided tours of Stirling's Church of the Holy Rude and the Great Hall of Stirling Castle.
