Everyone working on-site should be able to breathe safely without risking poor health outcomes from silica dust. This CPD advocates for safer indoor and outdoor air quality as an important accessibility, health and awareness issue. The session will explore the health risks of respirable crystalline silica exposure and the latest legal responsibilities. It will then discuss reducing risk, improving air quality and the practical steps construction professionals can take to create safer environments. It will also introduce the CIOB-funded ReACT Toolkit, providing practical resources to help embed safer practices across the sector. This course will run in parallel online. |
