This is a free, all-day event where we will be discussing the amazing qualities and properties of clay as a building material. We will be looking at the uses of clay within heritage structures prevalent to East Anglia and spanning hundreds of years, as well as exploring the exciting opportunities that earthen materials bring to the future of the construction sector today. Bringing their experience both as professionals and with a keen eye and interest for all that is earthen, there will be discussions and demos of wattle and daub and clay lump from long standing members of EARTHA: Colin Williams, Michael Knights and Simon Steele. |
