This morning course explores why heritage Statements are required for any planning application or listed building consent which affect the significance of a heritage asset (enshrined in the NPPF and particularly Paragraph 189). If undertaken correctly, these do not only provide a supporting document for an application but also a useful resource of baseline information which can inform an appropriate scheme of development, repair or conservation. |
