Learn how to construct a clasp purlin roof using traditional methods, tools and trees. On this course discover and practice traditional carpentry techniques, gain experience of laying out and cutting a frame from scale plans and drawings and work with locally sourced green oak timbers. You can also get involved in the construction of our vernacular style building, the reinstatement of our 1580 Long House. |
