Over the past 20 years, Historic England has advocated ‘like for like’ repair of reinforced concrete buildings and structures. This webinar will provide an overview of the use of reinforced concrete and outline decay mechanisms and methods of assessing condition. Using case studies, they will discuss what has been learned from a re-assessment of some of early repair projects and explain how this informs current approaches to conservation. |
