Historic Environment Scotland care for many of Scotland's greatest monuments and landscape sites. Gaining access to some of these areas has always been difficult but HES has developed a dedicated team and training to undertake high level inspections. Historic Fabric Building Assessor and stone expert Christa Gerdwilker will talk about recent projects undertaken in summer 2021, looking at high level fabric inspections, access methods and their limitations as well as stone conservation issues at height. |
