A talk by Professor Hilary Grainger, Chairman of The Victorian Society and former Honorary Professor in the Department of Theology and Religion at the University of Durham. Professor Grainger, author of a number of publications on architecture associated with crematoria, explores the changing attitudes to memorialisation in UK Crematoria: Cloisters, Monuments, Columbaria, Gardens of Remembrance and Beyond.
