Following a recent conservation and refurbishment programme, SPAB visit the country retreat of William Morris, the SPAB founder. He and his fellow Arts and Craft founder, Dante Gabriel Rossetti jointly leased the house in 1871 and the house was referred to by William Morris as 'heaven on earth'. This afternoon tour of the house also includes a cream tea afterwards. |
