Join the Kent and Surrey group on a visit to this Grade II listed working Smock Mill, which was returned to milling order in 2019. Built in 1845, Drapers Mill was returned to milling order in 2019. The mill's three pairs of millstones can be operated by wind power or by a 1920 Crossley gas-powered engine. Allowing for operating conditions, there will be working machinery, as well as the museum displays, an informative film and guided tours. |
