Watch this recorded online talk to find out more about archaeology at the SPAB's Old House Project, an ambitious project to fully repair a Grade II* listed 'building at risk' and return it to use. When the SPAB bought this medieval former chapel in November 2018 it was hidden behind an overgrown garden and vandal damage had left the site vulnerable. In this talk, Archaeologist Graham Keevill explains the work undertaken at St Andrews Chapel from 2019 - 2022, starting with a series of small test pits dug around the perimeter of the building. |
