CONSERVATION AND RESTORATION OF IRON GATES AND RAILINGS
: Eura
Conservation has extensive experience and expertise in conservation and
restoration of cast and wrought iron gates and railings. Prestigious recent
clients include the National Trust, Palace of Westminster, Rothschild’s
Waddesdon Manor, Exeter Cathedral’s Golden Gates, Tynemouth Station
and the Albert Memorial fencing panels. Icon-accredited conservators
and technicians are able to restore or recast missing elements and
the company’s in-house blacksmith can remake missing or damaged
decorative wrought elements.

CONSERVATION AND RESTORATION OF HISTORIC GLASSHOUSES AND
CONSERVATORIES
: Eura has completed work on initial surveys, through
to conservation works with Icon-accredited conservators on prestigious
projects including; the restoration of the Swiss Gardens’ Grotto Fernery,
restoring the cast iron glazed Tynemouth Station Canopy, restoration
of Stanley Park’s Gladstone Pavilion Liverpool, specialist cleaning
and replication of the glass roof and associated metalwork of Oxford
University’s Natural History Museum and conservation of Cambridge
University’s Teak Glasshouses at the Botanic Gardens. Eura also
specialises in smaller historic glazed structures and is presently embarking
on work on the world’s largest Victorian glasshouse, Temperate House at
the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
