INTERNATIONAL HERITAGE ORGANISATION

The recently formed Commonwealth Heritage Forum aims to support the conservation of buildings and places of heritage interest thoughout the Commonwealth by exchanging professional knowledge and expertise, and by providing opportunities for learning, understanding and skills development for all.

The shared built heritage of the Commonwealth is a significant component of the infrastructure of many countries. In many places this is highly valued but sometimes it is contested and its cultural value questioned. By inviting individuals and organisations in Commonwealth countries to connect through this new forum, there is scope for multiple narratives and for sharing perceptions, knowledge and experience for the benefit of all.
