Ingram Consultancy specialises in the conservation, repair, adaptation and alteration of historic buildings and scheduled monuments working in two ways. Either as partners and sub-consultants to other building professionals (particularly on large complex projects) or accepting direct appointments as designers and project managers to complete smaller programmes of work.

The practice uniquely combines practical skills with professional training and experience to bring workable, informed, intuitive and site-specific solutions for clients.

Commissions include: condition survey, investigation work, design, specification, schedules of work, advisory roles, technical design, project management, teaching and training.

Recent large projects include, working as heritage specialist on the Crossrail project at Paddington Station and Bond Street Station over 5 years and designing and supervising a programme of conservation and repair and new Purbeck limestone and cosmatesque floors at Buckfast Abbey over 4 years. As well as this the practise has worked on various smaller projects including condition surveys for the National Trust, small programmes of conservation and repair for commercial clients and designing and delivering bespoke training courses for Commonwealth War Graves Commission Staff to carry out condition surveys and specification of war memorial sites.
