The International Society for the study of the history of engineering and technology. The Society twice yearly publishes its journal, International Journal for the History of Engineering and Technology (The Transactions of the Newcomen Society). Each edition contains five or six papers of importance in the field of engineering and technology history. The Society also publishes a quarterly bulletin. The Society holds regular meetings in London and various regional centres and also an annual residential summer meeting.
