ACCREDITATION

The RICS Building Conservation Accreditation Scheme (BCAS) provides a register of property professionals who have attained a recognised standard of knowledge and experience in building conservation. Most are RICS members, but the scheme is open to full professional members of other recognised bodies.

Criteria for assessment broadly follows ICOMOS guidelines and BCAS members are subject to ongoing monitoring. Failure to satisfy the panel may lead to withdrawal of accreditation.
